Philip Siller is Co-CEO, Executive Chair, and founding Principal of BroadRiver Asset Management, L.P. Philip’s business career spans four decades across a wide variety of industries. Prior to launching BroadRiver, Philip and his co-founder Andrew Plevin founded and oversaw the longevity risk trading desk at Goldman Sachs as Co-CEOs and Co-Presidents of Eastport Capital Corporation (2006-2009).

In 2003 he and Mr. Plevin co-founded SPAR L.P., an institutional investment advisory firm acquired by Goldman Sachs in 2006. From 1992 to 2003, Philip was President of Hexagram International Ltd., a Toronto-based venture management and private equity firm. Prior to that, he spent a decade as Senior Vice-President and Special Counsel at Olympia & York Developments Limited, a diversified real estate and natural resources firm based in Toronto where, in addition to his legal duties, he held responsibilities in private equity, telecommunications, and ventures in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.

Currently a Member of the Executive Board of the European Life Settlements Association (ELSA), Philip also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors at The Fields Institute for Research in the Mathematical Sciences, Toronto and is a Member of the International Advisory Board at The Minerva Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Philip holds an LL.B. from the University of Toronto, a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, and a B.S. from The City College of New York.
